Elle and Jarelle’s Downtown Engagement Session
A strong love is built to withstand many different kinds of tests, including distance. Elle and Jarelle share just that kind of love, as they have persevered through many years of living whole states apart and are more than ready to unite as husband and wife!
Elle contacted us after working indirectly with us during her cousin’s wedding. She was impressed with our overall style as a team, as well as the high quality finished product that we delivered, so we were a natural choice when Elle and her fiancé began researching photographers when it came time for their own portrait needs.
Elle wanted to sneak in an engagement session during a brief window of time that her fiancé was visiting from out of state, so we worked with their fleeting timeline to make this happen! Arriving impeccably dressed and well-prepared, Elle and Jarellekicked off their session in a romantic, matching ensemble on the grounds of the University of Tampa. Using endearing props such as balloons and roses, our couple brought all of the flirtatious romance of a first date to life as they strolled through the campus.
Because Elle and Jarelle have already brought a beautiful baby girl into the world, it was only natural that this little beauty be incorporated into the second, more casual part of their session. We threw sweet baby Journee into the mix for a few adorable family-style portraits, and then ended their session with a casual sunset stroll by the water as a fabulously dramatic sky lit up the backdrop.
