Mike & Barbara's Tarpon Springs Crescent Oaks Country Club Wedding
When we first met Mike and Barbara we had no doubt that the four of us would get along just fine. Both with Northern upbringings, their quick wits and appreciation of lighthearted sarcasm was instantly a perfect match for our fun-loving, easy-going style. We were prepared from the start for a couple that was going to prioritize an element of playfulness throughout their wedding day. So when Barbara shared her visions for playful group shots and Mike chimed in with thoughts for fishing poles as props, we were totally on board.
Their wedding day was hosted by Crescent Oaks Country Club in Tarpon Springs, Florida, which offered a clean yet luscious green backdrop for their ceremony and portraits. During family portraits Barbara provided us with a prop to really take some “out of the box” shots, literally! An elegant, empty silver frame made for a quirky dynamic as Mike and Barbara’s children held the frame up to showcase their new, picture-perfect parent combination.
The family portraits were followed by a scenic golf cart ride across the club’s grounds where we were able to stop at several iconic locations all bathed in golden hour light. A lakeside landscape made for the perfect setting to break out the fishing poles and capture our couple doing one of their favorite things together.
Composed of a tastefully classic palette of pinks and neutral tones on pristine white table cloths, the reception was light and airy as the sun set, then transformed into a lively dance party with not one person left in their chair thanks to the charismatic styling of DJ . The night finished off with a glamorous sparkler exit right before our couple was whisked away in a beautiful Rolls Royce. Mike and Barbara made us feel like family, and we are blessed to call them part of our McNeile Photography family!
