The Blog
Sure, a picture is worth a thousand words, but we throw in a few extra just to cover all of our bases!
Get an inside perspective on how we spent our time with our couples. We love sharing insider details, tips, and even behind-the-scenes "bloopers" that add a whole other dimension to the stories our images tell!
Halfway through our first meeting with Yessy and Greg, it was clear that they had no doubts about us as their wedding photographers— and the feeling was SO mutual! This couple was referred to us by our favorite wedding planner Taylor Falcon Events, so we all had strong feelings before our formal coffee date that we would all be a great match for each other. Sure enough, we were inviting them into the McNeile couples’ family and planning their engagement session by the end of our first latte!
Tampa,Florida McNeile Photography are pleased to announce that we have been selected as a 2019 winner in The Knot Best of Weddings, an award representing the highest-rated wedding professionals as reviewed by real couples, their families and wedding guests on The Knot, the leading online wedding brand and app. This is the 2nd year McNeile Photography has been selected for The Knot Best of Weddings.
One of our missions as your photographers is to ensure that the locations we choose for your engagement session hold some significance to you and your fiancé, so that your portraits are more than just lovely photographs: They are tangible memories that evoke the nostalgic feelings of new love, promises made, and excited talk of the future.
Just when we thought we were closing the door on our wedding portfolio for 2018, one last ceremony slipped through the crack! We were thrilled when we received a final inquiry to accommodate an intimate, low-key ceremony between Brittany and Josh at the Lightner Museum in St. Augustine, Florida. The draw of the dreamy historic architecture is something we can never resist, so we happily accepted our last couple of 2018 into our books.
Spending another evening with Richy and Kelsey was as fun as ever, only this time we walked away with beautiful images to remember our time together by. We absolutely cannot wait to capture their chemistry again on their wedding day in February of 2019!
We were lucky enough to close out our last wedding of 2018 by celebrating the marriage of a good friend. Because of our history together, Whitney and her fiancé Eric trusted us wholeheartedly to provide an amazing photography experience on their special day. This was both a great honor and a great responsibility, which we were more than excited to accept!
Teresa and Will were sent to us by one of last year’s amazing couples, and we couldn’t have been happier to add more friends to our McNeile Family! They came to us only two months before their wedding date, but we were up for the challenge of diving in and helping them put the finishing touches on their planning and timeline.
When Amanda arrived at our first meeting (and every meeting after, as a matter of fact!) armed with an extensive wedding planning notebook, we knew this bride was an organized force to be reckoned with! While Matt was a bit more laid back and reserved than his fiancé, it was this balance that seemed to be just one of the reasons that Amanda and Matthew made for a perfect couple.
With 9 years together already under their belts, Chelsea and Josh are closing out their first decade together as husband and wife. This couple is living the ultimate hopeless romantic’s dream of finding love young and watching it flourish into the lifelong bonds of marriage.

We’d love to learn more about what your dream photographers look like to see if we fit the script! There’s no question too silly to ask, and no detail too small to mention!
We were so excited when Sandra and Garrett chose the scenery of SoHo in Tampa, Florida where all the magic of their courtship happened as the backdrop for their engagement portraits. We love nothing more than to give your portraits as much sentimental value to them as possible; and nothing screams “sentimental” louder than the stoop of their old apartment complex and a couple of stools at World of Beer!
