Britny and James’s engagement session takes center stage at the Straz Center!

When two people who specialize in the performing arts find each other in life and love, it’s a wrap.  When these two people chose McNeile Photography to document their engagement and wedding, it’s an on-and-off screen chemistry like no other!  Britny and James came to us through referral, and we were excited from the moment we met them in person as a couple to capture their star quality relationship status in a fun mixture of glamorous and playful ways.

For their first engagement session location we selected the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa as the backdrop to set the stage.  Britny and James arrived dressed to impress, giving us all the classy vibes of an elaborate night out to the theater.  Britny’s dramatic pop of color gown choice really livened up the more neutral palette of James’s suit, and she was the true shining starlet of this first set of portraits.

Their second location choice gave us all the freedom to let loose and have a bit more flirtatious fun!  Moving things over to the Amalie Arena called for a wardrobe change into custom-made jerseys that sported their wedding date on the back.  This second location allowed for our couple to show us their more laid-back, playful side, which is just as important a dynamic as theater life in their relationship.

Pure naturals in front of the camera, Britny and James made our jobs all too easy as we photographed them in two of their favorite elements.  We can’t wait to capture the light of these two stars as they tie the knot at the Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg in early 2019!
