The Garvin Wedding ( Featuring Isaac The Cat )
Our window of time to get to know Charissa and Dylan was not the longest, but that didn’t affect the strength of our connection with them one bit! From day one, we have jived with these two since a super fun, brisk engagement session and a post-shoot Chick-fil-A dinner party! Check out their USF campus engagement portraits HERE.
With just a few short months between our connecting and their wedding date, we were relieved that our anticipation for their gorgeous Brandon, Florida estate wedding would be short-lived. And sure enough, the beauty and splendor of their Casa Lantana wedding day exceeded even our highest expectations!
We arrived on location in the middle of a flawless Sunday afternoon and were immediately excited by all of the scenic nooks and crannies sprawling over a relatively cozy piece of land. The bride and her ladies all casually prepared in a spacious guest room, while the groom and his guys waited separate but nearby in the back portion of the house. There is something to be said about the time saved when a couple is able to prepare in peace on location on their wedding day. This buys us valuable time to invest in focusing solely on YOU and your wedding party’s morning moments together!
The ceremony and reception were both staged to take place outside on the estate grounds, and the weather could not have been more perfect for such plans! Looking like absolute royalty, Charissa met her groom at the altar in an impeccably crafted ball gown wedding dress, and the two exchanged vows to eternally seal their 8 year long courtship. By the end of the ceremony, the sun had moved into perfect position for Golden Hour family and Just Married portraits.
From that moment on, the newlyweds chatted the night away with their guests beneath a deliciously cool evening sky. There was plenty of space for dancing, plus a fully-stocked photo booth tucked near the dance floor. Our couple topped off the night with a glowing sparkler send-off, along with a Goodnight visit from the estate’s resident cat, Isaac (which, of course, was the true grand finale to the evening)!
Charissa and Dylan have such bright and beautiful spirits, and we are so happy to have met and celebrated with them! We wish them many more years of happiness surrounded by a plethora of household fur-babies…and perhaps some human ones added in along the way!
