Yessy & Greg's Downtown Tampa Rooftop Wedding

Because Taylor Falcon Events was running the show, we knew to expect a perfectly orchestrated day when it came to Yessy and Greg’s wedding. But as the day unfolded, it was even more perfect than we could have imagined!

Our super chill, go-with-the-flow couple started their day in a sprawling, naturally sunlit house that held plenty of space for both wedding parties. Everyone could prepare for the day with room for the ladies to jam out in a giant suite while getting their makeup done; and as for the guys, they could partake in some celebratory drinking games throughout the entire house!

The bride and groom exchanged personalized gifts with their respective wedding parties just before we swept them off to their venue with time for a couple of First Looks.  Arriving at Rooftop 220, we chose a nicely shaded area beside Armature Works as the perfect industrial backdrop for their First Looks to take place.  True to her playful nature, Yessy made her groom work for his First Look by using the classic opposite-shoulder-tap to confuse him a bit before he finally laid eyes on her.  Next it was time for our second-favorite First Look: the one between father and daughter!  Yessy’s father was all smiles and quiet, happy tears as he beheld his daughter as a bride.

Their ceremony took place— where else but— the rooftop, where a spectacular view of the Tampa skyline surrounded our couple as they exchanged thoughtful, personal vows to one another.  Yessy wowed everyone by adding an absolutely epic tulle skirt to her already stunning gown for her walk down the aisle.  Though she wore it for only a fraction of the day, her appearance in it certainly left a lasting impact!

After the ceremony we made our way to our final destination for their reception: The cool, blank slate of Cavu, which Taylor Falcon Events transformed into this perfectly customized space for our newly wed couple and their loved ones to celebrate their nuptials in.  Complete with sunflowers, farm style tables, a donut wall, and video game cake toppers, it was clear that this space was designed only with our bride and groom in mind!

The party wasted no time in getting started from the drop of the first beat by the DJ, until everyone made their way outdoors for Yessy and Greg’s sparkler send-off.  It was almost painful to tear our couple away from the dance floor to capture some Just Married portraits full of golden hour light, coffee mugs, and strolls down the street as husband and wife (mirroring their engagement portraits from a few months prior CLICK HERE)… but SO worth it!

Thanks to the combination of an amazing team and an amazing couple, Yessy and Greg’s wedding day was anyone’s dream day, with one exception:  It was absolutely tailored to them, and could not possibly have belonged to anyone else!  It was a joy and a pleasure to celebrate with these two and their loved ones, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for this perfectly matched pair!
